We know that plans can change, so please let us know as soon as possible, as it may impact someone else's reservation!

We'll do our best to accommodate any changes, but please note that a late fee applies.

The late fee is calculated based on your rental price divided by the number of rental days. For example, if you booked a 3-day rental for $60, the late fee would be $20 per additional day.

The following Rental Agreement applies to all rental items booked through the SYCK Rental website, unless otherwise specified.

SYCK Rental provides designer dresses for rent across Singapore. This agreement sets out the terms applicable to each rental transaction. By placing an order on the SYCK Rental website, you accept these terms and agree to abide by them.

Contract

By placing an order on the SYCK Rental website, you enter into a legally binding contract between yourself and SYCK Rental. This agreement covers the rental of items available on our website. For general terms that apply to the use of the SYCK Rental website, please refer to our Website Terms of Use.

Payment

By entering this agreement, you authorize SYCK Rental to charge your selected payment method according to the terms outlined in this agreement. You certify that you are authorized to use this payment method and agree not to dispute the payment if SYCK Rental fulfills its responsibilities. Additional fees may be applied for damages or late returns as outlined below. If payment is reversed or rejected, you agree to pay the outstanding amount within 24 hours, or the booking may be canceled.

SYCK Rental reserves the right to take necessary steps to recover any owed amounts, including debt collection and legal action, which may increase your total payable amount.

Title to Rental Items

All rented items remain the property of SYCK Rental at all times. No alterations or modifications may be made to the items without SYCK Rental's written approval.

Rental Period

The rental period selected at checkout is inclusive of the start and end dates. For example, a 3-day rental from Friday to Sunday includes both Friday and Sunday in the rental period.

Delivery

You should select a delivery date 1–2 days before your intended use date. SYCK Rental will dispatch items to arrive by your selected date. In cases of late delivery, if the item arrives too late for your event and is returned unworn within 1–2 days, a refund or credit note will be issued (subject to terms).

Please ensure the delivery address is correct and complete. SYCK Rental is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive an incorrect item or an item with defects (e.g., stains or damage), notify SYCK Rental within 24 hours of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue, including potential replacement or refund options. Minor wear is expected in rental items, so refunds may not be issued for insignificant issues.

Fit or Appearance Issues

SYCK Rental provides sizing information on each product page. We do not offer refunds for items that do not fit or suit the customer. In certain cases, credit notes may be issued, subject to SYCK Rental's discretion.

Customer Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of booking, provided the item has not been dispatched. Cancellations made 21 or more days before the rental period start date will receive a full refund. For cancellations between 14 and 21 days prior to the start date, a credit note will be issued. Please reach out to us via Contact to initiate a return.

Cancellations by SYCK Rental

SYCK Rental may cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., item damage or delay). If a booking is canceled by SYCK Rental, you will receive a full refund.

Return of Items

Items must be posted back on or before the specified return date. If the return date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, items may be returned the next working day without late fees. Any delayed returns may result in late fees.

Cleaning

SYCK Rental takes care of all cleaning. Customers are not permitted to clean or alter items. Attempting to clean an item yourself may result in additional charges if the item is damaged.

Damage or Loss

If an item arrives with damage, notify SYCK Rental immediately. Any damages not reported may be attributed to the customer. Do not attempt to repair or alter items. Significant damage or loss of an item may result in fees up to 120% of the original retail price. Lost items may incur fees up to 200% of the item’s retail price.

Late Return

Items returned late may incur additional fees. A grace period of 1–2 days may be granted if the delay does not impact subsequent bookings. Late fees are calculated as a daily rate based on the rental price.

Limitation of Liability

SYCK Rental is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from booking cancellations, late deliveries, or issues with item quality. Our liability is limited to the rental fees paid.

Definition of "Refund"

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, or issued as a credit note if applicable.
